Main application scenarios (II)

Mobile operators/Base station equipment suppliers/Other communication facility construction units

1. Find weak uplink interference signals

In base station environments, weak uplink interfering signals can be easily found, even in challenging situations where strong downlink signals would overwhelm most other instruments.

2. Signal coverage quality verification

Can be accurately quantifiedDownlink signal coverage indicators for 4G-LTE, NB-IoT, and 5G-NR signals.

3. Use multi-channel and multi-technology scanners for drive testing to quickly determine signal coverage over large areas.

4. Provide frequency clearance testing for new base station installations.

5. Check for interference signals.

caseexample1

The spectrum in the figure was acquired in a high-rise office building near the border area. The WSA product features high sensitivity (low noise floor) and a wide dynamic range, making weak co-channel interference signals from across the border region readily apparent. The spectra of all active signals are clearly and vividly displayed with high amplitude and frequency resolution. The type of each active signal event is also labeled (annotated and annotated) in the side margin.

Case2

use"TD-power+SA" test to find uplink interference signals**

The following figure shows an indoorActual field test results for the FD-4G-LTE service. The base station detected significant interference on the 1.95 GHz (20 MHz wide) uplink channel. However, months of troubleshooting using a traditional swept-mode spectrum analyzer failed to locate the interfering signal. When the WSA-408 product was finally brought to the site, the interfering signal was detected within minutes, as shown in the figure. The source of the interference was identified as a security, surveillance, and sensing system operating in the same frequency band.
